Windsor Windows & Doors, a subsidiary of WoodgrainMillwork, has an immediate opening for a Division Quality Manager, located in West DesMoines, Iowa. This non-union facility isa make-to-order manufacturer of wood and vinyl windowsand doors for the mid to high-end housing and light commercial markets.

This Division Quality Manager will lead the quality and continuousimprovement initiatives in the areas of cost reduction, on-time delivery,safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, 5S and other plantperformance metrics.

The idealcandidate will have a Bachelor's or Engineering degree, 8-10+ years of senior qualitymanagement experience in the window or construction related industry, and 8-10+years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. A proven record in modern manufacturingtechniques such as Lean, Kaizen, etc. is preferred. A solid working knowledge of businessfinance, basic accounting, budgeting and information management are required.

Thesuccessful candidate will be a proven leader and work exceptionally well withothers, and be able to manage multiple priorities. Windsor is looking for a strong team playerwith excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The individual must haveproblem solving abilities with strong detail and technical skills.

Kum & Go is searching for an IT Quality Assurance Automation Engineer III, who is involved throughout the application development lifecycle with particular responsibility in the quality assurance of software development and deployment, emphasizing development and implementation of test automation. This includes the creation of test strategies, acceptance criteria, test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated). In working closely with product owners, business analysts, and developers, this position ensures requirements are being met and conducts automated (and manual tests, where necessary) to ensure the software created meets defined standards. Success in this role requires someone to "think outside the box" to understand the various scenarios and configurations that customers use, ensuring quality is maintained and driving regression testing across the products. In addition, this role will be responsible for defining and driving innovative automated testing strategies and toolsets into the company's overall development processes that support and enhance the current quality assurance processes at Kum & Go. What you'll do * Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases with a strong emphasis on using code to solve technical challenges and shorten the test cycle through automation – towards robust, scalable, and high quality test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing; in Windows, virtual; cloud & mobile platforms. Collaborate with project teams (both agile and waterfall) including developers, business analysts, and product owners to plan and estimate test efforts; design and implement test and validation strategies; create, execute, and troubleshoot automated test scenarios across our systems; analyze and communicate test results; defect metrics; and participate in day-to-day QA activities. Be meticulous about documentation and maintain a robust log of all test cases and test results. * Identify required improvements in the test and development processes; serve as a catalyst to enable the adoption of automated testing while defining an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture (TAA). Design and develop (new or modified) test automation solutions that meet the business needs, and where necessary, evaluate tools and technology for automation that best fit each project, adding to the company's performance and scalability testing efforts. Improve the test frameworks, tools, and technologies used by the organization to maintain optimal quality standards. Establish a standard process for implementing test management in an organization (project/program) with standardized delivery based on quality KPIs. * Contribute to ongoing process improvement activities, including the building of a continuous integration (CI), cloud integration environments. Manage and optimize testing assets to facilitate maintainability and address evolving (test) systems. Create automated test reporting and metrics collection. Maintain a high quality bar in a complex and constantly evolving workspace. * Create and maintain an effective working relationship between stakeholders. Ensure the appropriate people are informed of actions and progress made relative to solution development milestones. Understand and effectively manage the human issues associated with test-project management and implement necessary changes. * Partner with QA and Governance Lead to participate in strategic QA road mapping and the evolution and execution of the road map goals. Help assess the current status of the test management, propose step-wise improvements, and show how these are linked to achieving business goals within the organizational context of test management (organization or project/program). Contribute required analysis to take appropriate business-driven decisions on a test management strategy and implement organization-wide commitment and compliance based on quality KPIs. * Champion the adaptation of standardized best practices for implementing high impact test management methods, techniques and tools. Educate and train stakeholders, including developers, business analysts, and product owners. Help establish and align activities to KPIs. This position may also lead medium to large projects, ensuring project requirements and timelines are met. Other key requirements * A minimum of 5+ years of progressive QA experience with a minimum of 3+ years of scripting and automation experience. * High proficiency in one or more automated test tools, such as VSTS, MTM, Xamarin, Espresso, Coded UI, and Selenium, with experience in test automation frameworks and scripting. * BS/MS degree in computer science, information systems OR associates degree with 8+ years of experience working in an IT project environment. * Good knowledge of object-oriented programming, along with requisite coding and debugging skills. * Understanding of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multi-threading concepts, with proficiency in one or more of C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby. * High proficiency in test automation architecture and full QALC activities, including translating user stories and acceptance criteria into working test plans, test cases, and executable test scripts. Experience in estimating test efforts, analyze and communicate risks, and impacts and tests results. * Experience working in collaborative environments (Agile; DevOps) and contributing to building of a continuous integration (CI) and ongoing process improvement activities, using tools such as VSTS, TFS & Jira, GIT, and Jenkins. * Ability to function as a strategic partner within a team and working with project stakeholders, including users, project managers, business analysts, and developers, while delivering solutions. * A reputation for impeccable ethics and integrity, as well as a track record of success in applying best practices, maturing QA practices, and value delivery. * Experience leading the delivery of ambiguous QA tasks and projects, with the ability to negotiate and drive optimal quality outcomes for our customers. * Experience building highly automated environments using virtual and cloud resources is strongly desired. * Must be able to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and fun environment. * ISTQB, Agile certifications and prior IT experience in the retail industry is a plus.
