Responsible for the selection, purchase, installation, and maintenance of all information and Technology equipment, including telephones, copiers, scanners, networks, computer hardware, and all software. In cooperation with Territorial Headquarters and Divisional Finance Board assist in the development of a strategic direction for the organization in the overall development and implementation of a technology plan.

Provides leadership and direction to the Division for Information Technology services, support, and development
Develops both short and long range technology plans
Gathers, interprets, and prepares data for studies, reports, and recommendations.
Provides professional technology advice to the Divisional Secretary for Business, the Divisional Finance Board and other units as requested.
Communicates official Information Technology policies and technology plans with the Division.
Fosters a widespread awareness of good computer ethics.
Assists in preparing and administering the Information Technology Department budget.
Plans and implements organization-wide information systems, services and network facilities including local area networks, secure wide area networks and peripheral systems.
Management and Direction for IT Staff
Manages the Information Technology Department staff.
Provides appropriate opportunities for the professional development of the Information Technology staff.
Manages Helpdesk schedule and implementation
Supports subordinates in performance of their duties.
Maintains a team environment for Information Technology staff members and
Act as the IT Resource for the Division
Reviews and makes recommendations to the Divisional Finance Board regarding all requests to purchase technology equipment for all departments of DHQ, Corps, and programs
Participates in the development of information technology services and policies as well as establishing standards for computers, networking and telecommunications equipment and related items for the Division.
Coordinates the development and extension of information technology and network services
Ensures adequate training is available to the users of information technology services.
Serves as a technical resource regarding network and information technology.
Ensures satisfactory security and backup of the information stored on the central servers.
Manages and oversees all IT and IT Related Projects
Monitors, oversees and interacts with all outside technical consultants.
Has overall responsibility for the developing territorial information technology infrastructure.
Maintains broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technical solutions, equipment, applications and architectures.
Oversees the purchase of information technology products and services.
Provides IT Support Services
Provides support to Corps and Programs which may include some travel.
Provides Divisional Headquarters with adequate access to telephone systems (conventional and wireless), printers, scanners and copiers.
Ensures adequate technology and end user support is in place to support a variety of applications
Ensures that disposal of obsolete technology products is done in accordance with industry standards and applicable guidelines and law.
Direct support and management of Divisional hardware and software (including but not limited to Network / Phone / Cabling / Computers / Printers / Copiers).
A related Bachelor degree is desired.
5 years experience providing direction in IT matters, overseeing IT staff and projects. Experience with non-profit service organization preferred.
Related Certifications desired.
Experience in a multi-site environment.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills.
An exhaustive knowledge of the principles of Information Technology management including:
Extensive knowledge of personal computers, local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks(WAN).
Advanced knowledge of Lotus Notes/Domino.
Knowledge of database design concepts.
Strong understanding of telecommunications, printer and copier technologies.
Valid Driver's license required.
