Your seat at the table: Divisional HR Manager You will love this seat if you get, want, and have the capacity to:Labor Relations and ComplianceUse corporate policies and the Labor Agreement to ensure compliance and maintain positive employee relations within the unionized environment.

Plan, prepare, and actively lead the Collective Bargaining process by gathering relevant information from internal and external sources, scheduling coordinating and representing the company in all negotiation meetings Talent Acquisition and DevelopmentCollaborate with the operations leadership team to determine optimal staffing levels that meet production needs and align with business goals. Work with Corporate Talent Acquisition to develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire the best candidates for exempt, non-exempt, and hourly positions (excluding Senior Level Management roles). Work with Corporate Talent Acquisitions to design and implement onboarding programs to effectively integrate new employees into the organization and foster engagement from day one. Create and oversee comprehensive training and development initiatives aimed at enhancing employee skills, promoting career growth, ensuring a safe environment and supporting overall business objectives.

Safety and Wellness ManagementOversee the administration of the Plant Safety program by leading the safety committee and cultivating a safety-conscious culture across all levels of the organization. Manage the administration of Worker’s Compensation Claims for the plant in coordination with the corporate benefits team to ensure timely and effective resolution. Work with Corporate Benefits to develop and promote wellness and preventative care programs that engage employees and contribute to their well-being both on and off the job.

HR Operations and ReportingPrepare and present weekly and monthly reports, including current headcount statistics and talent acquisition status, to keep senior management informed and support strategic decision-making. Oversee the Corporate Administrative Services function to ensure efficient and effective administrative support across the plant. Strategic LeadershipServe as a key member of the division leadership team, collaborating with the President and other senior leaders to align HR initiatives with overall business strategies and objectives.

Provide strategic HR counsel to the President and leadership team, contributing to the development and execution of business plans and initiatives. Team LeadershipManage, mentor, and develop future direct and indirect reports to ensure high performance and continuous professional growth. We need this seat to have:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field 8 years Manufacturing Human Resources Management experience or equivalent 5 years of experience in dealing with a Union including participating and /or preparing for Union collective bargaining/Union negotiations Knowledge of and ability to create and administer HR policies Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and ability to advise management on laws and regulations. Knowledge of collective bargaining process and contract administration Ability to maintain confidentiality Strong employee relations skills Capable of prioritizing multiple projects/issues Excellent oral and written communication skills Must be proficient with technology (Microsoft Office Suite) This seat reports to: President of SynergyOps Our company believes leaders are critical to the success of each individual.
