This position provides nutrition, dining and hospitality consultative and training services to communities based upon state requirements and company needs. This employee provides detailed reports to the Director of Dining regarding the dining experience, food service, food quality, resident satisfaction, kitchen sanitation, food safety, kitchen equipment, and structure. This role requires a strong individual contributor who assists with menu creation, menu management, and product procurement. A team player who participates in resolution of dining & nutrition customer concerns as needed. This individual must be knowledgeable to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy consulting for at-risk residents.


  • Maintains current and strong knowledge base of regulations and current practices related to dining services/hospitality and resident nutrition.

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes sound recommendations based on state regulations, quality metrics and Enlivant policies and procedures. Collaborates with community, regional, divisional and Support Center leadership to develop plans for improvement for more effective and efficient dining experience

  • Evaluates programs, meal preparation and resident dining experience and service, and related documentation during visits to communities. Provides direction and guidance regarding standards, budgets, and regulatory compliance. Works closely with regional team members to support Enlivant processes.

  • Maintains, updates and implements policies and procedures.

  • Troubleshoots and problem solves operational, staffing, and training issues related to dining services, and recommends changes, solutions, and modifications in all relevant areas.

  • Participates in quality reviews, performance improvement teams, and surveys as requested. Assists team members to develop and monitor corrective action plans and/or plans of correction related to Dining Services.

  • Train and coach community level staff in dining and nutrition related areas to promote excellent service delivery and presentation within budget.

  • Participates in community, regional, divisional, and Support Center meetings, conference calls, and educational programs as required.

  • Ensures that all OSHA and safety standards are followed, as applicable to the position, in accordance with state and federal regulations and Enlivant policies and procedures.

  • Additional duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in dining or hospitality

  • Multi-facility experience in healthcare or hospitality

  • Availability for 40-50% of travel required

  • Serve Safe certification required

  • Must be able to work a full shift, come to work on time, and work overtime as needed

  • The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred

Will assume a leadership role in developing, implementing and coordinating education plans for providing training in all clinical setting, that meet Behavioral Health specific requirements. Work collaboratively with Administration and Leadership at the facility level to oversee compliance with goals and objectives established by the Prime Healthcare Services as a system. Serves as an expert resource within Prime Healthcare for Behavioral Healthcare services and treatment programs and service line development for Prime Healthcare Services. #LI-WG1 Responsibilities * Demonstrates knowledge of Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health operations and Policies and Procedures. * Familiar with Administrative policies and procedures, Hospital and Behavioral Health, inpatient and outpatient programming and treatment practices. * Maintains HIPPA compliance and up to date with new regulatory changes and privacy practices specific to Behavioral Health Laws, for inpatient and out-patient treatment. * Flexible in work schedule and day to day operations * Travels to different locations and out of state as needed to support day to day operations * Working knowledge of behavioral health practices, standards, clinical operations, regulatory requirement, reimbursement practices and current Mental Health Law * Working knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health care * Working knowledge of service lines within Behavioral Health Care Treatment services and how to access and reference regulatory standard related to each type of service line within the Behavioral Health Scope * Has working knowledge of DSM, Treatment Programming, Treatment Planning and other program therapies, to support services as a consultant to the processes * Supports the role as a consultant to advise facilities on processes to efficiently manage Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health operations * Assists hospital administration with patients', physicians', employees' concerns or issues as they relate to hospital behavioral health related operations * Maintains a process of keeping records of minutes from department committees and other meetings as assigned. Assists in the preparation, planning and execution of agenda * Initiates processes for standardization of products and policies throughout the system * Reviews any and all contracts related to Behavioral Health and provides suggestions and or recommendations to improve cost, quality and processes * Reviews and provides recommendations related to any staffing changes * Oversee and consult on Behavioral Health Projects to meet the goals and objectives established by Prime Healthcare and in accordance with strategic direction * Performs other duties as assigned or required Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Social Work, or closely related field required. Master's Degree preferred. * Active Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or closely related licensure required. * Minimum 10 years Behavioral Health experience. * Minimum 5 years in a Behavioral Health leadership or administrative role. * Proficient with computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). * Excellent in communication and management skills. * Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
