The Vice President of Surgical Services provides strategic leadership for HCA North Texas Division's Surgical Services line operations, including the implementation of business plans that support the continued growth and success of the Division. Provides operational oversight to ensure the financial viability of initiatives.
Establishes and leads a cohesive governance structure that supports the hospitals and physicians. Collaborates with key stakeholders, including department leaders within the service line at the hospital and clinic level. Designs, plans and implements programs that balance the interest of the hospitals within the division.
This key leader represents HCA North Texas Division to both internal and external customers. The VP of Surgical Services is responsible for communicating with physicians, staff development and retention, developing strategic plans, creating a vision for the respective service line, overseeing budgets, communicating with regulatory agencies, providing proposals for business development, coordinating marketing efforts for the and providing operational guidance and spreading best practices.

More than 7 years healthcare management experience required.
Administrative services and/or program development experience
Bachelor's degree required.
Master's degree in business or healthcare related field preferred; BSN preferred
