Summary: Maintains current ownership for all company owned wells for the purpose of disbursing revenue to the owners of production.
Interprets title documentation, such as title opinions, assignments, operating agreements, deeds, farmouts, and probate documents to determine deck ownership.
Responsible for reviewing leases to identify provisions that affect proper payment to interest owners.
Responsible for setting up revenue decks on operated properties.
Works with Title Attorney/Landman to ensure that all title issues are resolved as needed.
Calculates BCP/ACP, BPO/APO and non-consent interests.
Unbilled suspense will be reviewed quarterly and actions taken to set up needed decks where possible.
Responsible for reviewing status of suspended owners for Escheat process.
Chain title with limited supervision.
Sets up revenue decks on operated wells and burden link decks, if necessary, with limited supervision.
Works with accounting for reverse/rebook processes.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college and a minimum of three to seven years related experience and/or training.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
