Description
BryComm is seeking a Division Manager to lead our Security division at our Austin branch. This role is responsible for strategically overseeing all projects within the division, including reviewing job opportunities, advising on the scope of work, and reviewing budgets. Additionally, this role will lead the Project Management team of the division to ensure that the team meets expected milestones and KPI’s that have been set by leadership.
Responsibilities
- Review job opportunities, estimates, and proposals with a focus on risk and value drivers for the division
- Manage P&L budget for the division in the Austin market
- Develop business strategy with Director of Sales to help drive sales and ensure available work fronts to the division employees
- Monitor performance of ongoing projects within the division
- Coach and mentor project managers and project coordinators within the division. Provide support and encouragement and address issues as they arise to ensure that the team meets challenges and takes on growth opportunities.
- Address escalated customer/project issues for the division.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations on the overall strategy of the division
- Ensure that division employees are meeting training and safety requirements for client worksites
- Manage and communicate labor needs, shortages, and overages for the division
- Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers regarding pricing and products

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equitable years’ experience and industry certifications
- 8+ years of experience in Security
- 4+ years of experience in Project Management
- Experience overseeing and growing customer accounts
- Proficiency in Project ETC, Billing Projections & Department Budget
- Strong executive presence and professionalism
- Proficiency in Resource & Schedule Forecasting
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred certifications: OSP, RCDD, PMP
- Software experience:
- ERP systems (intermediate proficiency)
- MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook (intermediate to advanced proficiency)
- Takeoff software (intermediate proficiency)
- Familiarity with Linkware, Bluebeam, and Acumatica a plus!
Physical Requirements
- Able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, and climb
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
