Job Summary

Coordinate and direct the functions of a territory consisting of 10 or more offices. Ensure compliance of company policy and achieve established standards for controls and profitable operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the branch offices

  • Interview and select division branch personnel

  • develop and maintain customer relations

  • Evaluate branch performance an d advise branch manager on corrective action, if required

  • Ensure account gain and loan volume for division

  • Confirm compliance of state and federal lending procedures

  • Minimize delinquent debt by ensuring appropriate lending and collection procedures

  • Confirm compliance with company record-keeping

  • Resolve any customer/employee grievances

Job Requirements:

Completion of training period as Manager or previous Cash Advance experience. Knowledge of State and Federal lending regulations. Valid State driver's license and acceptable driver's record. Access to reliable transportation for use in employment. Ability to travel frequently with overnight stays. Computer literate and able to operate a ten-key calculator.

Educational Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Click here to learn more about Evonik from our employees This position manages all foam application activities in the Hopewell polyurethane lab, with special focus on the testing of silicone surfactants from the synthesis lab and production batches from the manufacturing plant. Working closely with the ADTS group in Allentown, the Foam Applications Manager: * Ensures lab technicians follow standard foam application procedures to test, report and release surfactant batches that perform within established guidelines * Supports investigations into process deviations and helps address restricted inventory * Supports product development of surfactants by coordinating lab synthesis, screening of experimental batches in foam application tests, and plant scale-up of promising candidates. * Manages lab projects to evaluate surfactants, catalysts and additives that may improve foam quality and processing to meet specific customer needs or general market trends RESPONSIBILITIES As the senior on-site technical representative for the Business Line, the Foam Applications Manager is responsible for managing the health, safety and quality program for the polyurethane foam group in Hopewell, ensuring that site guidelines are followed, and initiatives are implemented. * Manage foam application projects assigned to lab technicians to evaluate surfactants, catalysts and additives for improvements in foam quality & processing to meet specific customer needs or general market trends. * Summarize results of foam application projects and prepare reports & presentations to highlight performance benefits of Evonik additives to support Comfort customers and applications. * Support ADTS group with product development of surfactants by coordinating lab synthesis, screening of experimental batches in foam application tests, and plant scale-up of promising candidates with MOC documentation and EHSQ/SAP set-up * Provide technical support to the Business Line for regional strategic objectives based in Hopewell. * Supervise foam testing activities of surfactant and catalyst intermediates and finished products for all C&I Product Lines to ensure batches meet quality & performance specifications. * Support synthesis lab and silicone surfactants plant to investigate production problems, propose countermeasures to ensure continued supply and address restricted inventory. * Review, update and maintain procedures in Proquis to ensure lab meets ISO & RC standards and site EHSQ guidelines. * Coordinate weekly safety engagement activities, building inspections & site housekeeping initiatives for the department; propose upgrades to lab facilities and equipment. REQUIREMENTS * A Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science, with 7 years of relevant experience preferably with knowledge of polyurethane foam and/or surfactant chemistry. * Effective interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required; prior supervisory and project management experience in a chemical laboratory preferred. * Excellent problem solving, analytical and computer software skills like SAP. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access preferred.
