Division HR Manager - $125-145K + Bonus + Car – Automotive Components Manufacturing – Responsible for a staff of 20 in a 1000 employee manufacturing facility. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group based on KPI to develop solutions, programs and policies. Monitor employment trends and control turnover. Administer benefits. Measure effectiveness of solutions, programs and policies to ensure set goals are achieved. Implement and annually update compensation program. Conducts annual salary surveys and develops merit pool (salary budget); analyzes compensation; monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary. Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate. Ensure all employees are highly motivated and engaged by proactive measures and activities.Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations when necessary. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required. Provide day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention. Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation. Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, transfers. May assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters. Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning. Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs. Develop and implement training programs based on needs analysis. Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met. Manage EHS responsibilities. Other managerial responsibilities as needed.
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management and other related fields. Minimum of 10 years of the resolution of complex employee relation issues in manufacturing environment. PHR or SPHR certification preferred. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, training and development, worker’s comp, and federal and state respective employment laws. Working knowledge of TPS (Toyota Production System) is a plus. Experience in Automotive Manufacturing is a plus. Excellent leadership and decision making skills.
