We have clients in all 50 states and have dep industry verticals in all segments of the motorsports industry. We operate as a retail and wholesale broker and program manager.

About the Position:

Responsible for developing, managing, marketing, and sustaining profitable motorsports insurance business.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain loyal relationships with clients, insurance agents and brokers to create business placement opportunities

• Develop and maintain underwriting relationships with insurance carriers by demonstrating in-depth knowledge and adherence to the insurers' underwriting guidelines, both with E&S and Standard markets

• Recognize acceptable business opportunities through underwriting pre-qualification process

• Assist the staff to successfully negotiate market placements of new and renewal business

• Meet and sustain targeted revenue goals

• Coordinate resources to accomplish account specific objectives

• Assume responsibility for the successful completion of all account tasks and details on account portfolio

• Motivate and educate co-workers, blending leadership and technical skills

Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience and knowledge considered

• Substantial and relevant experience in a motorsports insurance brokerage or underwriting environment including wholesale brokerage experience

• Demonstrated understanding of motorsports insurance coverages and relevant excess and surplus lines forms, understanding of both admitted and non-admitted markets

• Trusted working relationships with carriers and carrier underwriters

• Highest level of customer relations, sales management, and negotiation skills to generate profitable results

• Highest level of interpersonal skills to facilitate team building and resource management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Proficient in Carrier Rating Portals

Work Location:

This position is remote, but candidate must be located in the Eastern or Central time zone.

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
