Eaton's Fluid Filtration Division within the

Hydraulics Group is seeking a Division Accounting Manager - Filtration. The DivisionAccounting Manager Filtration will be based at our Hydraulics Headquarters inEden Prairie, MN.

TheDivision Accounting Manager will contribute as leader of the global Filtrationaccounting and finance compliance, ensuring that the relatedcorporate/sector/segment standards, policies and procedures are developed andfollowed as prescribed. This includesmanaging compliance through updates and creation of division policies andprocedures, steering and monitoring SOX compliance, DSA validation and gapclosure, conducting/monitoring balance sheet reviews and managing the LORprocess. Responsible for providingguidance and support to the regional and HQ finance teams in the areas ofaccounting and finance compliance, including identifying and driving processimprovements across the Filtration Division. This position would be a key contributor in due diligence foracquisitions and divestitures.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Youwill provide operational accounting and internal controls guidance and supportto Filtration finance teams.

  • Youwill oversee Division internal controls program and full compliance to GAAP,Eaton Financial Policy and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Support both internal and external audits asrequired.

  • Youwill evaluate existing processes and procedures and deploy best practices anddrive process standardization.

  • Youwill identify key policy and procedure needs through interviews, review ofaudit findings, discussions with management as well as continuous examinationof the internal control environment to determine weaknesses and mitigate.

  • Youwill manage balance Sheet Reviews and ensures proper review coverage for allledgers, and ensures issues are resolved by required due dates.

  • Youwill coordinate monthly "red-flag" analysis to determine financial risk on keybalance sheet accounts.

  • Youwill be a key liaison for corporate functions, including identifyingopportunities to leverage shared service center resources for accountingsupport.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor'sdegree in business, accounting or finance from an accredited institution isrequired.

  • Minimumof 5 years of finance/accounting experience within manufacturing organizationsis required.

  • Mustbe legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipnow or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBAor CPA Preferred

  • Experienceof best practice implementation/end to end process improvement in accounting& finance

  • Provenexperience in identifying risks and weaknesses in internal control environment

  • Complianceexperience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Position Criteria:

  • Knowledgein GAAP and Eaton financial policies and procedures

  • Knowledgein Finance, General and Cost Accounting, AR and AP, Fixed Assets and Treasuryrequirements

  • Strongmanufacturing accounting background and a solid understanding of financialaccounting systems (Oracle, QAD /Mfgpro, Khalix a plus)

  • Globalcultural and business practice awareness

  • Stronginterpersonal, communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to operateand deliver independently without day to day supervision

The Procurement Manager is responsible for: Directing the Filtration Supply Chain Management (SCM) Team in the Americas and EMEA regions to develop, deploy and execute direct material cost out projects and the implementation of commodity strategies for the Hydraulics – Global Filtration business (including new product development projects) and financial tracking/supporting for Hydraulic Group SCM performance and forecasting. This role also leads standard processes and Eaton Business System tools, drives functional improvement and development of the SCM organization. This role will work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Product Management, Operations and Engineering to develop, manage and implement the annual profit plan cost out strategies which meet the organization's cost goals and to deploy and standardize SCM processes across the entire Hydraulics SCM organization. Responsible for managing procurement activities for over $60M of direct material spend. Strategic procurement requires global coordination of sourcing and supplier relationship management, developing strategies, identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities, leading project management activities. In this role you will: * Initiate, plan, monitor, execute and close global direct material cost down projects within a portfolio program management tool. The projects will provide NET 3% savings to achieve SCM objectives. * Deploy EBS procurement tools, processes and procedures , including Eaton Standard Sourcing Process, Project Management SharePoint Database, Approved Supplier List, centralized global project planning & coordination, and Net productivity. * Lead and facilitate SCM personnel on development and deployment of Commodity Strategies, SCM Cost Out Project Pipeline, Supplier Risk Reviews, Supplier Relationship Management & Scorecard reviews, LTA negotiations and VA/VE events. * Contribute to supplier performance improvement initiatives related to quality, delivery and capacity * Lead the annual Profit Plan development of the Regional SCM and Filtration SCM Cost Out plans. * Lead and improve the global monthly cost out/cost up/surcharge reporting process, including the rest of year forecast as reported in the Cost Out Database,. * Collaborate with other SCM Procurement professionals within Hydraulics and Eaton to gain synergies and consolidate spend with strategic suppliers. * Develop strong positive ethical relationships with suppliers & adhere to Eaton's Code of Conduct. * Manage supplier compliance and communications associated with Eaton Corporate initiatives (Ethics compliance, EHS requirements, etc.). * Support corporate supply chain programs and initiatives, including Diversity Spend Reporting, Supplier Risk Management and, International Procurement Office initiatives Basic Qualifications: * Minimum 10 years supply chain management experience * Bachelor's Degree in SCM or a related field from an accredited institution required * Previous Procurement management expertise * Minimum 1 year of experience directly managing or leading a team. * No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
