Division Accountant

Job Description Job Description Compu Dynamics sits in the heart of one of the fastest growing data center markets in the country and is a recognized leader in that business. We are excited to be growing and have an immediate need for a Division Accountant in Chantilly, VA.

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Formats and sets-up project forecast to meet both internal and external reporting needs.

Executes monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP. Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations. Ensures all budgets and financial processes align with company goals.

Reviews and reconciles WIP activity. Works with AR, AP, and other departments as needed to resolve issues. Ensures timely management of accounts receivable and payables.

Collects cost information and maintains an expenses database. Assists in the preparation of budgets. Assists project accountants with any issues.

Provides ongoing training/coaching to employees on Procore system. Provides timely and completed documentation of work performed. Operates personal vehicle safely; adheres to safety protocols; reports hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and/or equivalent of education and experience 3-5 years’ experience ERP system knowledge is required Preferred Education and Experience: Commercial Construction accounting Sage Experience helpful Company Description Compu Dynamics is North America’s premier technology infrastructure design-build partner.
