This position is responsible for directing the support of Government Clinical Operations; serve as the primary representative for audit activity including internal audits, compliance reviews and external reviews conducted by the government; oversee the implementation of new or revised program requirements; oversee the implementation, tracking and monitoring of corrective action plans; and the development, implementation and management of an effective system of controls. Manage Medicare and Medicaid policies and procedures. Partner with the Government Programs Compliance Officer and Oversight group to develop, enhance, and monitor a comprehensive compliance plan for Clinical Operations Government Programs. Partner with Government Relations on policy and regulatory issues.
Required Job Qualifications:
10 years of experience in compliance, product development or contracting, government accounts or Medicaid / Medicare; responsible for contracts or requirements in a managed care environment
5 years management experience with two years at a director level
Presentation skills and clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
Executive presence with the ability to influence inside and outside HCSC
Experience managing multiple complex priorities
Business, financial, and analytical acumen; experience with capital budgeting, financial forecasting or sales forecasting
Experience leading and formulating a strategy and delivering results; building strong connections with people and teams
Experience working in a matrixed organization across multiple geographic areas
Knowledge of the external market, competition and regulatory environment
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Regulatory experience in government programs (state Medicaid reporting, audits, CMS reporting)
Masters prepared Nurse 10 years in a regulatory/audit role
Experience in a State Medicaid role within a Managed Care organization
