Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), the DEI Staff member will support the development and implementation of advanced learnings to strengthen the Company's culture of inclusion. The DEI Staff member is responsible for conducting internal DEI investigations and will have an emphasis on developing and executing strategies for EEO metrics, Affirmative Action, diversity recruitment, and collaborating in the development of the DEI brand for The Aerospace Corporation.

Hybrid, 3+ days per week on campus in El Segundo, CA
What You'll Be Doing
Partners effectively with Business Groups, People Operations, and Office of General Counsel to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective processes
Works with Aerospace University and third-party vendors to create trainings that centers around unconscious bias, affirmative action, and workforce harassment prevention
Identifies obstacles in existing approaches and recommendations strategies and solutions to management and employees
Tracks diversity demographic metrics and reporting on progress
Ensures compliance with Department of Labor, federal EEO/Affirmative Action, and state regulations, and makes policy modifications as needed
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements for Staff III:
Bachelor's degree in related field
4-7 years of relevant DEI or auditing experience
Demonstrated experience with employee relation
Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated strengths in building relationships, team collaboration, business acumen, analysis, conflict resolution, project management, and effective communication (verbal, non-verbal, and written)
Willingness and ability to travel domestically

Master's degree in related field
Experience preparing, analyzing, and presenting complex material to diverse audiences of varying experience levels
Experience with developing action plans, conducting self-audits, and responding to OFCCP audits
