Job Description:


Provide administrative and organizational support for Diversity & Inclusiveness initiatives; help develop and facilitate supplemental learning opportunities for staff; assist in tracking and reporting Diversity & Inclusiveness metrics; participate in the development of a mentoring program; build and sustain relationships with internal and external community members


  • Contribute to an organizational culture of respect, hope, and personal accountability regarding Diversity & Inclusiveness

  • Promote cultural proficiency in all aspects of the organization's functions and programming

  • Develop and maintain the Diversity & Inclusiveness intranet site (InSite)

  • Assist the Digital Media Specialist and other Marketing staff in maintaining the Diversity & Inclusiveness presence on the Mental Health Center of Denver internet site (mhcd.org)

  • Contribute Diversity & Inclusiveness content to employee newsletter

  • Develop and implement internal projects (e.g., lactation spaces; organizational signage; D&I merchandise; etc.)

  • Support tracking and reporting of Diversity & Inclusiveness metrics

  • Attend community meetings and events

  • Support the design and implementation of "after-training" learning resources

  • Make Diversity & Inclusiveness presentations to community stakeholders

  • Provide coordination/programming support to other members of the Diversity & Inclusiveness team members

  • Support the establishment and operation of a talent development (mentoring) program

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of awareness month events, D&I field trips, and information-sharing

  • Serve as a training facilitator apprentice

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required

EXPERIENCE: 1 year of related Diversity & Inclusiveness/program management experience


  • Bilingual (ex. Spanish, ASL), a plus

  • Strong organizational and planning skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Holistic view of Diversity & Inclusiveness

  • High level of creativity and innovative mindset

  • Demonstrated ability to work with people from all walks of life

  • Strong desire to grow in the Diversity & Inclusiveness field


TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to sit, stand, bend and reach, operate standard office equipment such as phone, computer, facsimile, copier/printer/scanner, and other business machines. Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.

MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT TO BE USED: Computers, calculators, fax machines, copiers, telephone and a variety of other office/clerical equipment.
