Contributes to profitable sales growth by leading and engaging Home Services associates, supervising the installation network in assigned stores and ensuring customer experience exceeds company standards.

Sales Performance

  • Builds profitable sales through decorator development and first time and on time installation

  • Performs internal and external regular job audits for In-Home Custom Window (IHCW) and Home Services to include vendor compliance

  • Drives associate referral programs in an effort to increase sales

  • Drives programs through training of store associates

  • Engages in a highly collaborative relationship with General and District Managers to discuss to how better lead and engage their teams towards extraordinary performance

  • Utilizes available reports to drive sales and increase profits through identified KPIs

Team Development

  • Hires, trains, and develops sales, installation and support associates

  • Coaches in the moment (i.e., on periodic customer appointments) and leads associates to enhance each associate's effectiveness and develop the team

Customer Service

  • Follows up on all customer service issues in a timely manner for IHCW and Home Services, include customer survey comments

  • Drives timely completion of sales orders and installation to the customers' satisfaction

  • Drives blended "Likely to Recommend" scores to exceed company standards

  • Guarantees the organization and standards of the staging locations are within company guidelines

  • Confirms all company assets are accounted for and maintained (i.e., Vans, tools, ordering devices, phones)

  • Responds to service requests in a timely manner

Staffing/Schedules

  • Validates that all jTime schedules are published for associates to achieve proper staffing to meet customer needs within budget

  • Reviews appointment scheduler to validate utilization and effectiveness to schedule appointments in a timely manner

  • Confirms installation routes are planned for efficiency to meet customer needs

  • Properly assigns staffing hours for necessary tasks and to maximize events

Performance Standards

  • Consistently meets established performance standards for the role, including (but not limited to) product and service sales, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance

DSMs cover 1-3 districts. Their primary responsibilities are to drive quality and customer service through managing Service Providers (installers), ensuring Store Connectivity, and driving Issue Resolution as it relates to Home Depot s installation services. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 50% Service Provider Management- Develop and maintain professional customer and Service Provider (SP) relationships. Responsible for assisting in the recruitment, retention, and performance management of SPs within the District. Authorized to provide immediate and corrective feedback to Service Providers to improve performance. Execute consistent monthly quality reviews with select Service Providers to drive high customer service. 25% Store Connectivity Communicates with District Managers, Store Managers, and Specialty Assistant Store Managers to drive Home Services and Specialty awareness, attach rates/sales, promotions, and process. May act as an interface with store associates, Expeditors, contact centers, and customers. Drive store awareness and engagement surrounding Services and Specialty. Coordinate weekend lead generation events. Partner with Services leadership to execute Program initiatives. May complete competitive shops. Escalates potential program gaps by engaging in Store Walks and developing attack plans for underperforming categories. Communicates new programs and/or processes to help improve Services awareness and customer service. 25% Issue Resolution Provides accurate, swift resolution of escalated customer issues. Coaches store management, store associates, and installers on proper and quick resolution. Performs in-home inspections, as needed. NATURE AND SCOPE Typically reports to Regional Services Manager. 4. No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work, train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary action). ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Environment: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Travel: Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time. Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Additional Minimum Qualifications: Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Additional Qualifications: Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)/proven customer interaction skills and problem resolution. Project Management skills or leadership skills. Experience in residential remodel project management experience.
