Job Description
The District Manager is responsible for the supervision and development of a team of sales, delivery and merchandising personnel and is accountable for all Coca-Cola business within a defined geographic area.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for sales execution in local, regional and national accounts within assigned segment and territory
Lead sales organization to identify opportunities, establish goals and objectives and deliver on plan
Track and report progress to ensure programs are being executed and goals are achieved
Meet with and deliver sales presentations to key customers, assisting Account Managers with maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing deals
Build long-term profitable relationships with key customers, communicating with them about company policies, industry insights, new product/package launches and promotions
Coach and lead a team of direct reports while ensuring a culture of learning and development
Foster a fun results driven work environment that achieves its results in a safe, professional and ethical manner
Communicate expectations while creating an environment of accountability and continuous improvement of daily execution
Job Requirements
High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree preferred
3+ years of relevant sales experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
Excellent planning and organization skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
