District Safety Officer - Bulletin #125-24

• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates issued in conformance with the American Red Cross recommendations and guidelines for CPR, First Aid and emergency care

• A Valid California Driver's License (or be in the process of obtaining) - High School Diploma/equivalent or higher

• Police Officers Standards and Training (POST) PC832 Certificate

• SB 390 School Security Officer Certificate DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION: - Experience using handcuffs and pepper spray.

TESTING: Qualified applicants will be scheduled for testing and notified of the scheduled date via email.

• All District Safety Officers must take and pass a physical agility test. The testing will be tentatively scheduled by 5/24/24. The interviews will be tentatively scheduled by 6/02/24. Note: All District Safety Officers are subject to a background check, including a polygraph exam.
