The Role:
As we continue to drive towards 2X growth, EF Educational Tours has identified several key markets across the United States where we see significant growth potential. In California, these charter organizations have a substantial amount of untapped potential where we need a strong, strategic salesperson to drive key relationships and build long-term educational travel programs. The ideal candidate is confident selling to educational leaders in addition to teachers. They will quickly become the EF expert on the nuances required to effectively maximize market potential in charter organizations. This person is strategic, goal-driven, and committed to helping charter organizations recognize their potential for deep and sustainable educational travel programs.

Senior Tour Consultant experience and beyond preferred (or experience as a former educator, with proven sales success)
Responsibilities:
Ability to work with customers in-market both in person and virtually, present at lunch and learns, speak at school Professional Development days, and participate in similar relationship-focused sales activities with educators
Working in partnership with regional team leaders, including state seller if applicable, to identify key opportunities for growth in highly qualified districts and charter networks
Proactively manage a qualified pipeline while simultaneously closing sales and hitting or exceeding quotas
Critically analyze the market potential to convert the short-term opportunities while nurturing the potential for continued long-term growth
Balancing a focus between repeating existing business as well as acquiring new business
Leveraging connections and referrals at all levels (teacher through superintendent) to drive business deeper and wider in your market
Driving a strategy to achieve deeper organization depth across target schools, districts and networks
Partnering with an EF Experience Specialist to ensure exceptional service to drive strong repeat rates and referral generation
Strategically mapping out a long-term regional growth plan in your territory to contribute to ET's goal of 2X growth
Collaborate with acquisition-focused colleagues such as State Managers of Educational Partnerships and District Partnerships Managers to innovate on best practices and achieve maximum potential within your market

Compensation: Base salary $50,000-$60,000+ annually commensurate with experience, plus uncapped bonus potential commensurate with experience
