District Operations Manager

The District Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of the branch, including leading a team of Supervisors and managing the branch's annual budget and operating plan.

What You'll Do

• You will be leading the daily safe, efficient, legal, and economical operations of the multi-branch

• Facilitating compliance to corporate health, safety, and environmental affairs policies, including completion of trainings, documentation, and record-keeping.

• Implementing and handling our branch health and safety program and conducting safety audits in conjunction with other employees/leaders

• Conducting incident investigations and communicating root causes and recommending preventive measures to Leadership.

• Managing day-to-day work activities to ensure operational goals and objectives are met.

• Ensuring sure all employees have the required tools and training on safety, operation standards, and department goals.

• Helping to build a positive work environment and encouraging employee ownership of branch operations and performance.

• Leading interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating Supervisors

What you'll need

• High School Diploma/GED required

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

• 5-7 years of experience in Operations

• Knowledge of chemical waste facility operation preferred

• Solid understanding of governmental requirements related to the chemical industry; i.e. OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT, etc. preferred or ability to attain such knowledge

• Leadership: ability to communicate with, support, and motivate others to achieve operational objectives

• Strong verbal /written communication skills

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $128,000-$160,000/yr. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay. Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and paid time off.
