Divisions Maintenance Group

  • District Manager

Reports To: Regional Manager

Divisions Maintenance Group is looking for a Facilities Services District Manager in San Leandro.

Are you

  • Unafraid of a challenge, single-minded in pursuit of results and driven to achieve?
  • Great at managing competing needs, able to creatively "find the win" for everyone involved?
  • Self-motivated to set your own schedule and resourceful enough to drive a multi-facility account?
  • Looking for a job where you're not stuck behind a desk? Want to put your boots on the ground and get out and about every day regardless of the season?
  • Not looking for a sales role but instead want to bring top level service results by managing others?
  • Looking for a role with growth potential for your own career with plenty of room to move and increase your experience, your resume, and your wallet?

If so, Divisions Maintenance Group needs you as its District Manager in San Leandro.

With a facilities-manager mindset, the District Manager coordinates exterior CAM services for some of America's highest-traffic commercial properties. We don't do the maintenance work; we make sure the work gets done by others. This is not a sales role but you may collaborate with those who work in the sales department as the eyes, ears, and boots on the ground providing solid intel to increase success.

You will set high standards and coach third-party contractors to success. Divisions seeks people who are crazy about quality, hungry for the next tech advantage on the job, and obsess about creating value. Is this you?

Our District Managers are Property Warriors: relentless about offering customers uninterrupted peace of mind, unapologetically maniacal about delivering quality, and urgently solution-driven when faced with maintenance challenges.

We are looking for a "seasoned" professional, who has managed facilities services during the many seasons of your region snow, hurricane, landscaping, drought whatever Mother Nature throws at us, we deliver the customer service and not part-way. At Divisions, when we say we're on it, we're on it, all year round.

In this role, you'll be:

  • Part Strategist

  • Part Disruptor

  • Part Coach

  • Part Collaborator

This job is for the go-getter; the problem-solver; the thoughtful risk-taker; the detail-oriented, the visionary for seeing the small stuff before it becomes big stuff; the conflict-resolve; the people-relator; and the relationship creator. The only question that matters is, "Could it be right for You?"

Let's be clear. Being a great District Manager takes a lot of energy and passion. We do what it takes to get results and that means this is NOT a 9 to 5 job. We balance those long hours with a policy of no-limit PTO that you'll take at your own discretion. But around here, we are not bothered by hard work. In fact, that's when we're at our best think tornados, hurricanes, and blizzards. When the clouds roll in, we roll out.

Think you might fit here?

What We Offer:

  • An amazing company culture: think fun, fast and celebratory

  • Autonomy, backed by support and coaching

  • A clear path for your career growth

  • Open communication with your peers

  • Industry-leading tools and technology

  • Continual opportunities to develop

  • An attractive compensation and rewards package

  • A chance to make an impact on properties, communities, and the company

What You Bring:

  • An enthusiastic, curious, confident and assertive personality that's unafraid of rejection

  • A bachelor's degree (preferred)

  • Commercial property management experience

  • Ability to network and build a vendor network of professionals

  • Contracting/exterior services management background; project management skills

  • Ability to prepare reports, compile statistics and research information

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience using iPad and smartphone / an appetite for using the latest, greatest tech tools and an intuition for how to maximize them
  • A great attitude about working long hours
  • A competitive attitude that drives you
