Position Summary
We are currently seeking a District Manager to join and contribute to our team. The position is accountable to provide leadership and oversee the delivery of services within a division or group of divisions that generates revenue greater than $12M annually. The position ensures work and work assignments are efficiently organized and staffed and that adequate resources are available to satisfy ongoing operational and client needs while complying with safety, quality, and financial goals.
Responsibilities
Overseeing the efficient use of equipment, consumable and human resources within divisional operations
Utilizing site specific metrics to improve productivity and customer service
Engaging in client relationship building via frequent communication and opportunity exploration
Ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements throughout the operation
Performing regular site visits to engage with field staff
Ensuring direct reports are providing effective management presence and support/coaching to front line staff
Preparing and monitoring compliance with approved divisional and departmental operational and capital budgets
Reviewing, analyzing and approving monthly billable hours reports, operational expense reports, DTR's, and expense submissions
Managing costs, analyzing deviations and making necessary adjustments
Providing oversight and direction to sales staff to identify additional revenue generation opportunities
Overseeing the preparation of price estimates for more complex and detailed work packages
Managing direct and indirect labor to maximize utilization
Approving requests for capital equipment within limits of authority
Implementing the organizational vision by distilling it into functional plans
Providing direction to ensure commercial terms are followed to drive achievement of the financial goals
Communicating organizational values, objectives, and opportunities and how they support business success
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a field such as engineering, business or management preferred, but not required
Minimum of 7 (seven) years industry-specific experience, and 5 (five) years of progressively responsible supervisory experience
Fully proficient in P&L and EBITDA management and reporting
Experienced at job costing/job bidding processes and efficient resource utilization
Thorough knowledge of the range of Acuren's technical services
Strong safety and quality orientation
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and company-specific software programs
