District ELL Teacher - All Grade Levels (K-12)

The Big Walnut Local School District is currently seeking qualified applicants for the following full-time position for the 2024.2025 school year:

• District ELL Teacher (K-12) - Employment process is completed through the ESC of Central Ohio

Qualifications: Must have valid Ohio teaching license, with TESOL endorsement (complete or in progress)

Salary: Salary is commensurate with experience

This position will provide instruction to English Language Learners in individualized/small group settings or within their general education classrooms. Besides instruction, responsibilities will include administration of the OELPS screener for K-12 students who are English Language Learners according to ODE standards, administration of the OELPA, and the writing of educational plans.

The position will participate in school data teams in an RTI model, develop intervention strategies and progress monitor interventions as a regular part of their work for all students.

Must be available to work in small group or individualized settings.
