Position Summary

Essential Functions

  • Distributor Development: Drive Sales growth through assigned distributors.

  • Actively research, identify, qualify and target potential new distributors.

  • Responsible for the hiring, training, and management of a distributor network to service the US marketplace.

  • Identify Distributor needs and work internally with NABCO peers to develop tools for distributors.

  • Lead Follow-up: Distribution of email leads to appropriate distributors or direct employees; prompt follow-up on requests for information from internal and external customers.

  • Large Project oversight: Track distributor opportunities of a specific size. Collaborate to contact and engage Architect/End User / Contractor as appropriate so as to increase NABCO success rate.

  • Manage distributor performance and implementing effective variance correction as required.

  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, etc.)

  • Ability to read architectural drawings

  • Able to manage change, influence others, be a team player, and gain group commitment

  • Able to work additional hours and travel up to 25% of the time

Education, Training, Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales

  • Degree in management arena (operations, business, etc.) preferred

  • Experience working with general contractors and end users

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Work environment is dynamic. Extensive phone and computer work is involved. Typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop, and cell phone is used. Reaching is necessary above shoulder height and below the waist. Lifting up to 30 lbs. as required to assist with materials; proper lifting techniques required.

What You'll Do * Drive ideation, definition and prioritization of features/roadmap for key products offered through the Merchant Website and that support our servicing partners such as Chat and Customer Service Tool * Work with an Agile team, partnering with the scrum master and engineers, to deliver against the product roadmap * Support product managers with the implementation of new web and mobile features/enhancements * Take PMO role for E2E initiatives to liaise with POs, tech teams, partners, and stakeholders * Liaise with global stakeholders on partner initiatives, communications, and local compliance and approval processes * Actively participate and contribute in Agile ceremonies * Product and/or project management & development background (1-3 years of experience) * Fast learner with a passion for online and digital products * Strong project management skills, highly oriented to detail, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously * Team oriented individual with superior written and verbal communication skills; has the ability to collaborate with and influence both internal and external partners * Self-starter with strong analytical skills and a "can do" attitude towards problem solving and decision making * Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (mandatory) * Proficient in Microsoft Office products, primarily Excel and PowerPoint * Experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM) and tools (Rally), preferred * Ability to travel (10%) Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
