Expectations:

  • Teach, follow and audit Raymour & Flanigan's safety policies and procedures.

  • Train associates on all material handling equipment including an order picker, electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift.

  • Train associates in the use of our warehouse management systems.

  • Oversee the furniture receiving, shipping and preparation process striving to have perfect product in perfect sequence.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy.

  • Ensure unparalleled customer service.

  • Motivate associates toward our goal of total customer satisfaction while consistently demonstrating positive behaviors.

  • Must have strong attention to detail, professional communication and customer service skills.

  • Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and minimum of two years of college coursework required.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Analytical, critical thinking skills and attention to detail are required.

  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new programs.

  • Two years operational management experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift, lower, push, pull all sizes of furniture up to and in excess of 100 lbs.

The organization supports a network of 10 distribution centers from Maine to South Carolina, which ship nearly 700 million cases of product per year to Food Lion and Hannaford stores. Position Title: Building Maintenance Technician Position Location: Manchester, CT Position Summary: Perform maintenance on all building and equipment both inside and outside the facility without assistance unless conditions require more than one person. Perform high quality work in a safe fashion and understand all safety rules for the task being performed. Responsible to work productively and make suggestion for improvements. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Enter their work into the computer maintenance system throughout their work shift and able to use the system to investigate repeat repairs and previous work performed on that equipment. Proficient in performing preventative and predictive maintenance with little or no assistance. Able to safely shut down systems. Make sure all equipment meets standards, codes and regulatory requirements. Able to trouble shoot and perform repairs on complex systems and equipment. Using the skill matrix, be able to perform in areas of responsibility as defined on their personal skill matrix. The skill sets will be determined by management based on the needs of the department and the mechanics demonstrated ability to perform these. Able to use DVOM and other electrical testing devices. Need to stay current with today's technology as required and offered by training. Able to provide guidance and training to Mechanic II roles Requirements Basic Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent diploma Experience: To come in at this level, the associate will need to show experience is related areas and demonstrate proficiency in these areas.
