Distribution Supervisor (Evening Shift)

Our company’s measurable growth is in no small part due to our team members in North Carolina, Arkansas, Illinois, and Missouri, who each have a seat at the table to contribute to our success Responsibilities: Directly responsible for leading the Distribution personnel in the day-to-day job duties Following direction of the Distribution Manager ensuring product loads follow Butterball policies and procedures Responsible for coordinating with Distribution Manager, Inventory Control, and various other areas to ensure product flow and safety Responsible for general up-keep and housekeeping of the Distribution areas during the work shift Required to have a good working knowledge of Safety policies and procedures Responsible for making sure product is loaded and shipped correctly in the designated time frame Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 3 years of relevant work experience in Shipping, Storage or Warehouse setting 1 year of supervisory experience preferred Experience operating a forklift required General knowledge in Shipping/Storage/Warehousing HACCP and or USDA policies Must have a high energy level and ability to work varying shift hours Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills to prioritize workload and delegate responsibilities as needed Decisive leader with strong interpersonal skills and is adept at leading and motivating Knowledge of workplace safety rules General computer skills Working knowledge of the following technical systems preferred:
