Assist in preparing and managing transport records (e.g., documentation of trip sheets, daily reports, overtime, random drug screening, e-logs, DriveCam, accident investigations, and driver's daily logs and D.V.I.R's.)Assist in managing company's compliance with all government regulations regarding vehicles and drivers (DOT regulations, accident reports, Driver Qualification Files, RSIs, HOS); monitors compliance with Company policies and procedures. Helps in overseeing master safety rules and standards
Playing an active role with BBU Oracle Transportation Management System (OTM)Create a culture of safety and teamwork in the department.Ensure that employees are in compliance with all safety rules and GDPs.Processing of payroll for all distribution/transport employees using the Kronos System.Record and balance produced and purchased product during the designated shift. Follow-up on discrepancies with production and/or producing plants during the shift.Review route accounting after the run. Follow up with DM, ADM and production on discrepancies.Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.Ensure facility cleanliness and organization per AIB and 5S expectations
Ability to motivate and direct the work of teammates at multiple facilities in the designated region
Ability to communicate with all levels across the organization: executives, management, drivers and warehouse teammates Founders Mentality Education and Work History: Good organizational, communication, and leadership skills.High School Diploma required, some college preferred.Three years of distribution supervisory experience, preferably in the food industry.Working knowledge of computers, including MS office applications.Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
