How will you make an impact?

The Manager, Site Operations is responsible for a focused area(s) within the day to day operations and ongoing advancement of the Patheon Logistics Memphis Distribution Center (DC) and staff, assuming responsibility for the SQDC performance of that are within the DC including: delivering unprecedented service levels to clients via KPI performance and meeting yearly corporate performance objectives. This individual must continuously review processes, performance measures, technology and staffing to identify efficiency opportunities and operational optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilizing your understanding of 3PL warehousing and distribution services you will ensure the DC maintains its reputation for flexible, innovative service that exceeds client requirements by delivering a best in class operational culture through strategic development and continuous improvement of your areas of accountability.

  • Provide direct daily supervision of supervisors and warehouse personnel to ensure safe, clean, and efficient operation of the distribution facility

  • Keep the pulse on your area of the operations and assume full responsibility for team performance, employee reviews, team development, coaching and counseling to achieve outstanding performance

  • Motivate and develop a team focused on outstanding customer service.

  • Promote a high quality work culture to achieve maximum results

  • Manage staffing levels to ensure the optimal production levels and cost savings

  • Oversee receiving and/or fulfillment schedules so client target dates and schedule deadlines are met

  • Identify issues and implement effective resolutions

  • Complies with Warehouse and Good Distribution policies and Standard Operation Procedures

  • Ensure compliance to client requirements throughout distribution center operations

  • Maintain exceptional work environments that allow for impromptu client inspections, potential client tours and ensure image of Priority Solutions as an industry leader.

  • Security and safety standards must be followed, with zero tolerance for deviation.

How will you get there?


  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • 4+ years' experience with Bachelor's degree; or 2+ years with a Master's degree; logistics discipline preferred


  • 2+ Years work experience in 3PL Warehousing and Distribution environment required

  • 2+ Years progress management experience

  • Experience in the Life Science and Healthcare industry preferred, ideally with a 3PL Warehousing and Distribution focus on Pharma

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Knowledge of SQDC and World Class Operational Management

  • Business understanding of total supply chain/distribution/logistics concepts and ideas

  • Experience using different Warehouse Management Systems

  • Proven ability to lead a team & results focused

  • Strong analytics skills, with experience in Microsoft applications to support those efforts

  • Ability to develop ideas and solutions

  • Good communication skills; both written and verbal

  • Ability to work closely together with other functional disciplines

  • Self-directed, can prioritize workloads within set timelines

  • Able to work to deadlines and under pressure at times

  • "Can do" Attitude

Mainly work in Warehouse settings and is involved in managing the loading and unloading of trucks. Collaborate with Inventory Control, Customer Service, Planning, Quality Control, Sourcing, and Operations to ensure timely and efficient completion of all activities. Ensure safe, effective, and compliant practices of Team Members performing a variety of tasks. Areas of responsibility include, but may not be limited to, receipt and stocking of inventory, processing customer returns, picking and shipping outbound orders, supporting inventory control best-practices, and often participating in or leading continuous improvement activities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide leadership for all Team Members within assigned department(s) on an assigned shift. Responsible for day-to-day supervision of Team Members and maintaining all time, attendance, and disciplinary action records for each direct report in a timely manner. * Responsible for development, promotion and disciplinary actions of Team Members on assigned shift. * Responsible for overall performance management of Team Members including preparing and delivering annual performance reviews. * Ensure timely and appropriate training of employees in the areas of EHS and Quality Systems. * Ensure team members are up-to-date and trained to perform assigned functions. * Contact/resolve/counsel Team Members in error remediation. * Maintain daily reporting of key operational metrics to track volumes, team / individual performance, inventory accuracy and processing times. * Manage all inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics activities including receiving, stocking, inspection, and shipping. * Assist with daily departmental functions as necessary including, but not limited to processing inbound and outbound orders, processing of customer returns, and aiding in inventory control activities. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages Distribution Function (approximately 30 people) QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
