Distribution Clerk - Swing Shift

Group Publishing is seeking swing shift Distribution Clerks. This person is responsible for assembly, pick, pack, and shipping customer orders. The typical hours are 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, mid-February through mid-July and 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the rest of the year with occasional weekends pending volume and workload. Primary responsibilities include assembly, order processing, material handling and low-end use of logistics/inventory software.

The hiring range for this position is $17.50 to $18.00 an hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a high-volume production or distribution environment

• Ability to frequently lift 45 pounds unassisted and over 45 pounds on occasion

• Basic navigational skills for HighJump WMS or similar system

• Team oriented attitude

• Good communication skills

• Strong work ethic, punctuality and attention to detail
