Job Description:

Position Summary:

Under general supervision responsible, as assigned, for the physical operation of the Central Warehouse and its storage yard. Instruct, direct and supervise physical employees in operation of the Warehouse.

Essential Job Functions:

Coordinate, direct and supervise work and personnel assigned to achieve the most efficient use of manpower and equipment.

Work with and supervise employees in the receiving, checking, shipping, tagging and storage of all material. Work with and supervise employees in the rearranging and locating of material for efficient operation.

Work with and supervise employees in the issuing to and return of material from construction, maintenance and retirement work by operating departments.

Advise Central Warehouse Supervisor in the interest of maintaining sufficient inventory to supply the demand of the operating departments and storerooms.

Promote and enforce all safety practices to safeguard employees and the general public as they pertain to this function.

Assist in training employees.

Understand and apply the provisions of the labor agreement and/or the AEP Management Information and Policy Manual.

Attend supervisory meetings when scheduled by management.

Carry out, within the assigned area of responsibility, the Company's program of Equal Employment Opportunity, including its Affirmative Action obligations.

Make recommendations and keep the immediate supervisor advised of the functions, activities and conduct of employees.

VIEW JOBS 4/1/2020 9:04:40 PM 2020-06-30T21:04 <p><strong>Data Center Operations (NE, Ohio)</strong></p> <p>The Data Center Operations Technician (DCOT) is responsible for supporting the organization's clients, and the technical infrastructure and platforms. The Technician will work individually and on teams/projects to maintain data center systems. This position is responsible for installation, configuration, implementation, support, and maintenance of hardware, software, and facility components throughout the data center. This role is a customer facing position, and is responsible for the direct support of SecureData 365's business clients.</p> <p>The DCOT will respond to calls/trouble tickets from clients for hardware, software, network assistance and problem resolution while ensuring that negotiated service level agreements are met. The DCOT will troubleshoot a wide range of data center and client problems while remaining accountable for the successful resolution. Among other tasks, the DCOT will be expected to perform systems and software upgrades, drive configuration changes for users, install and repair cabling systems, and perform various other hardware maintenance activities.</p> <p>The DCOT reports directly to the Operations Manager and also will work with the Senior Engineering Team.</p> <p>Our main office is located in Canton, OH with a second location in Cleveland, OH. The applicant must be available to travel between locations to work if necessary. Interviews are being given at this time for the Canton location.</p> <p>Responsibilities:<br /> - Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in network and facilities systems including: server, network, software, and building (electrical, mechanical, etc.)<br /> - Track and report on all work efforts and assigned system status.<br /> - Monitor and track assigned core infrastructure and network.</p> <p>- Answer and resolve ticket requests - including remote hands tasks.</p> <p>- Rack servers and network equipment; make, test, and run copper, fiber, coax, cables.</p> <p>- Create and maintain data center documentation and labeling per standards.<br /> - Maintain site facilities needs according to data center standards health and safety requirements.<br /> - Perform other scheduled and ad-hoc work as needed.<br /> - Work according to scheduled shift, and perform on-call support as needed.</p> <p>- Provide a high level of customer service for customer and vendors onsite.</p> <p>- Follow Standard Operating Procedures to complete company and customer related tasks.</p> <p>Key Requirements:<br /> - Associate's Degree and/or Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology, or related discipline strongly preferred; or two years relevant work experience.<br /> - Proven technical experience with networking, servers, and operations.<br /> - Strong written and verbal communication skills.<br /> - Good organization skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and/or assignments simultaneously.<br /> - Good problem solving skills with the ability to find successful resolutions for issues of basic complexity, escalating those that require management involvement, when necessary.<br /> - Outstanding customer service skills.<br /> - Must be able to work under general supervision in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.<br /> - Ability to learn quickly and address issues during normal working hours or when on call.<br /> - The ability to pay close attention to details.</p> <p>Job Types:<br /> Part-Time; (32hrs /wk)</p> <p>Position requires shift work that includes weekends and holidays.
