Distribution Center Lead

A Distribution Center - Inbound Lead reports to the Assistant Manager and is accountable for executing and prioritizing the production process of the Inbound team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and promptly. Processing a comprehensive understanding of the Inbound process, LPH, sorting and stocking daily goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing and overseeing the Inbound production processes including delivery scheduling, organizing workspaces, stocking, sorting and unloading of product.

• Has a deep working knowledge of assigned Inbound processes including individual and team LPHs, stocking and sorting goals and communicating them effectively with the team.

• Works to improve Inbound teams performance through huddles, feedback and other communication methods.

• Maintain clear and professional communication with staff and management.

• Reporting operational updates on a daily basis.

• Needing to operate PIT machinery (ie: WAVE picker, pallet jack, forklift, reach truck) at times depending on workstation.

• Track and report across all inventory related processes as required.

• Assisting in unloading incoming deliveries when necessary.

• Maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in the automotive field is beneficial but not a requirement.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft office

• Demonstrate willingness to collaborate on projects within the DC.

• Must be able to lift packages in excess of 60+lbs as necessary

• Must have flexibility in availability

• Must be organized with an attention to detail.

• Must be able to demonstrate a positive attitude

• Demonstrated ability to work under time constraints or tight deadlines

• Must be a team player who is positive and motivating

• Ability to use a WMS.

Compensation

• $22.00+ /hr based upon prior experience and qualifications

• Quarterly Bonus Opportunity of $900
