Summary:

The Distribution Center (DC) Asset Protection Auditor reports directly to the DC Asset Protection Manager working closely with the DC's Inventory Control Manager. This hourly position plays a key role in the identification and resolution of shipping accuracy and quality control issues that could impact store sales and TM safety. Core duties and responsibilities of the position are outlined below; however, duties may change at any time to support the needs of the business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain and partnerships with DC leadership

  • Conduct operational audits to include but not limited to, Store Shipment, TM Picking, Receiving and Stocking

  • Communicate and present audit insights & outcomes to DC management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be organized and detail oriented

  • Proficient in DC's WMS and understand all aspects of inventory movement in a DC

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Must be self-motivated with highly effective time management skills

  • Strong partnership, interpersonal and collaboration skills

Recommended Experience/Training

  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

  • RF Scanning Devices

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Previous work experience in a warehouse or distribution center

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home school equivalency

  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • Pass extensive background check

  • Ability to work on various shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays as needed

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Basic math, including add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
