Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for assessment and planning of ECOC demand and vertical supply chain fulfillment related to the IR product division headquartered at Saxonburg site.
Generation and management of Internal purchase orders (PO) and internal stock transfer orders (STO) that move goods from Saxonburg, Singapore, Suzhou China, PMD Philippines manufacturing sites to the ECOC sales and distribution office.
Reviews and adjusts (Firms) MRP purchase requests for all internal purchased parts for ECOC
Coordination with ECOC Sales office on customer demand needs, feedback of that information to the global demand planning process.
Coordination with the manufacturing sites on questions or adjustments related to production of parts that impact schedules.
Adjustment of Purchase orders, Stock Transfer Orders and for date changes that occur whether it is initial promise, delinquent backlog recovery, or customer push outs.
Adjustment of part number transfer pricing on active Purchase orders and Stock Transfer Orders based on Finance adjustments.
Assess and action opportunities to reduce distribution inventory and increase inventory turns at the ECOC Sales & distribution site by reducing supply from the manufacturing sites, increase inventory turns, flagging forecast discrepancies.
Ensure streamlined communication and delivery of goods to support On-Time Delivery to our customers.
Education & Experience
Associates degree required, bachelor's degree preferred.
2-3 years buying/planning experience required.
Experience with SAP or other major ERP Systems
Experience using SAP for planning and/or buying is a plus.
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification a plus
Experience with lean manufacturing and/or six sigma principles or certification a plus.
Skills
Experience with SAP or other major ERP Systems
Ability to communicate effectively and develop positive working relationships with internal cross-functional teams including business unit production planning, customer service reps, finance and internal sales teams.
Ability to work independently, understanding when to escalate decisions as necessary.
Must be authorized to work with export-controlled hardware and technical data.
Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities.
