Position Overview

Execute distribution plans that support the financial objectives of the assigned division/brand.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the financial success of one or more departments by meeting or exceeding sales, gross margin, gross margin return on investment (GMROI) and inventory turn goals

  • Execute allocations to a Unit Distribution Forecast

  • Allocate given sku count at least once per week if not more often based on strategy changes from US & Distribution Center

  • Be able to effectively communicate outages in inventory/ status of inventory within the distribution center

  • Be able to effectively communicate that allocation met intended strategy

  • Partner with cross functional team members to review business needs and execution strategies

  • Build & maintain model stocks for all basic and core items

  • Create size scales for buys & initial allocations

  • Utilize current systems to execute fashion allocations to support financial goals

  • Initiate relationships with stores & the store teams

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficient in retail math

  • Ability to work in a face paced environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrates strong listening, written and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and accurate

  • Able to develop and maintain effective cross-functional relationships

  • Flexible and adaptable to change

  • Experience in JDA is a plus
