Serves as knowledgeable, responsive, single point of contact for assigned customers and acts as a liaison between the DER customer and the Company. Establishes and maintains credibility, communications and relationships with customers, key account managers, legal, internal stakeholders, executives, field personnel and key company functional areas.
Works with customer accounts with distributed energy resources <20mw to="" create="" and="" enhance="" customer="" relationships.="" coordinates="" activities="" internally="" and="" externally,="" where="" required="" or="" applicable,="" and="" anticipates="" and="" resolves="" problems="" and="" issues="" related="" to="" the="" ders="" including="" day="" to="" day="" operational="">20mw>
Works closely with other departments, including billing, operations, communications, and legal. May support DERs >20MW in telecommunications billing and telecom sharing and load balancing authority contract review.
Coordinates and documents standardized procedures for both IPL and WPL distribution interconnect processes in accordance with IAC Chapter 45 and 15 and WI Administrative Code PSC Chapter 119. Interprets and applies codes, rules and policies for correct application to distributed energy resources activities.
Administers the PowerClerk(or similar) interconnect system. This includes, but is not limited to, contract administration, configuration and overall process development. May guide less experienced staff in program documentation and PowerClerk administration.
Responsible for timely and accurate regulatory and internal reporting. May be required to pull, interpret and assimilate data for stakeholders, regulatory or other reporting requirements.
May work under management direction to negotiate and maintain purchase power agreements with PURPA qualifying facilities and customers in Iowa and Wisconsin.
May participate in cross-functional teams or special projects. Maintains strong working relationships with staff support functions in other departments including sales, pricing, customer service, research, finance, communications, regulatory, and legal. May serve as a subject matter expert for renewable energy hotline providing guidance to hotline personnel.
