Job Description:

  • The Disruption and Innovation Program Director is responsible for identifying new innovations that provide a seamless customer experience across products, channels, and operations

  • This role is responsible for identifying leading edge technologies in partnership with the technology team to improve the employee experience and deliver customers with capabilities to manage their holistic banking relationship.

  • This role is responsible for the strategic assessment of opportunities in partnership with technology and cross-functional First National Bank business divisions, strategic partners/vendors and Fintech companies.

  • This role will engage with companies and other industries to increase First National Bank's long-term value by accelerating knowledge and new opportunities through partnerships that further our mission

  • This role will partner with operational leaders to determine what key business challenges need to be improved/modified/eliminated and determine what new and existing technologies can drive viable solutions to solve our customer problems.

  • This role will partner with the customer experience team to understand where new innovations are necessary/needed/adding value to address gaps in our customer expectations.

  • This role will be a change- agent to drive the agile transformation in the business unit to create new product in a more agile and customer-centric way.

  • This role will create a robust pipeline of new technologies that will deliver on the business needs to deliver the end-to-end customer intended journeys.

  • This role will drive more engagement and exposure with Fintech companies both locally and at the national level to identify key strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers in order to achieve individual and team goals

  • Inspire cross-functional peers in order to build a strong partnership in delivering excellent products and experiences

  • Develop innovative and industry leading products that uniquely serve First National Bank's customers

  • Strategize at both the macro-level, as well as for more tactical outcomes that are required to drive growth and customer satisfaction

  • Define a rolling 18- month strategy to move forward key technologies and business product ideas

  • Create, evangelize, and deploy new customer-centric agile product development processes

  • Accelerate the product ideation, testing and validation process to help the bank move faster with new time sensitive market opportunities and partnerships

  • Influence key stakeholders throughout the bank in order to align resources and prioritization of the most valuable opportunities

  • Identify and evaluate acquisition, partnership and investment opportunities with a bias towards actionable intelligence and/or results

  • Identify actionable ideas with existing partnerships and Fintech to drive forward the customer intended experiences and agile transformation both at the local and national level

  • Attend industry events and keep abreast of the latest innovations and technologies to solution that can solve business/customer needs

  • Create knowledge experts within the team that can provide updates to leadership when new technology education or understanding is needed

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

Additional Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three [3] years of Disruption & Innovation Product Ownership/Methodology experience preferred

  • Minimum of three [3] years of leadership experience preferred

  • Proven track record of strategic thinking and execution

What Can You Expect from Your Internship? Your internship will be an 11-week immersion into Conagra Brands and our Information Technology(IT) organization. Project types: Analytics - The analytics internship will focus on utilizing our Big Data stack to develop products and solutions to help enrich business processes with greater insights than traditional operational reporting is providing. Throughout the internship, you will be paired with a Conagra mentor who will help connect you to the Advanced Analytics Community. They will also help you to understand cutting edge technology you will be using and provide you with clarity on key goals. Over the course of the summer, you will be tasked with sourcing and leveraging marketing and promotional data in our data lake to mine insights on promotional effectiveness utilizing Python and presenting findings in an interactive Power BI dashboard. Web Development - As a member of the Development team you will you will play a key role in developing, deploying and supporting Conagra's critical business applications and participate in a team that provides innovative strategies and initiatives to support growth and operational efficiencies. Throughout your internship you will implement development capabilities, such as continuous integration builds and continuous deployment releases, and you will be tasked with adding functionality to our development pipelines, such as test automation or static code analysis. Whether it's finding new and innovative ways to solve complex business problems, or using the latest technologies to continue to refine and scale our current ecosystem, you will be exposed to a variety of critical business processes and applications. Areas of responsibility may include mobile application design and development, researching and implementing the latest innovations including robotics, artificial intelligence, voice and VR technologies, and internet of things. ETS - Participate in a team that provides innovative strategies and initiatives to support growth and operational efficiencies. Areas of responsibility may include helpdesk and operations, end user computing, networking, and performing system configurations.
