What you will do:

The Customer Support Specialist resolves customer account problems by researching, analyzing and communicating with customers and Airgas associates in all areas of the company to obtain the needed information to solve customer account issues. Customer Support Specialists also provide administrative support for the Credit & Collections Department of Airgas North Division, as assigned by the Supervisor.

Your responsibilities:

  • Provides prompt and accurate assistance during incoming customer phone calls through the hunt line.

  • Customer service may include such requests as supplying invoice copies or proofs of delivery; accepting payments on account or answering customer questions.

  • Responsible for investigation, documentation, and resolution of short paid and full invoice customer disputes, utilizing SAP's Dispute Management module.

  • Communication with the customer is required where necessary, along with collaboration with internal team members in Sales, Collections, Cash Applications, branches or other BSC departments to quickly resolve disputed AR items according to Airgas standards of performance.

  • Identifies the root cause of disputes regarding customer accounts ensuring a permanent fix is implemented in

  • SAP to prevent continuing customer issues. Provides needed corrections directly through the partnering with other internal departments.

  • Determines appropriateness of use of automatic dispute write off within the Dispute Management module.

  • Accuracy and integrity in the use of this functionality is imperative due to the sensitive nature of writing off AR amounts for the Regional Company and Airgas. Due diligence and documentation of research is required.

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely data entry of credit memo requests.

  • Reviews and validates credit memo requests to ensure appropriate approvals have been obtained and root-cause problem areas have been solved.

  • Responsible for entry of cylinder audit requests or cylinder adjustment requests as determined appropriate through research.

  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

What you will have:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.

  • Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a high-volume, fast-paced office environment with customer facing activities, internal or external.

  • Prior SAP experience is preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, proficiency with google suite, including Gmail, Google Sheets and Google Docs.

  • Experience and demonstrated ability in utilizing financial applications systems. Experience with an ERP software (i.e. SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

  • Exhibits customer focused behavior such as building positive relationships and strives to understand customer's needs, both internal and external.

  • Demonstrates effective decision making skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and identify root cause of problem.

  • Ability to deal with difficult situations in a diplomatic and professional manner.

  • Pleasant, interested and knowledgeable demeanor on the phone

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adjust communication method based on customer situation.

  • A positive approach and willingness to learn.

  • Team player with the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.

VIEW JOBS 1/23/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-22T00:00 Job Summary: Job Responsibilities: * Obtains, verifies and maintains necessary practitioner credentialing/re-credentialing, demographic, and industry and regulatory body driven information. * Performs credentialing/recredentialng activities and data entry into the credentialing database to meet established deadlines and ensure quality of data and integrity of information for presentation to the Credentialing Committee, submission on monthly rosters and reports. * Follows the messenger model process, as needed, for independent community practitioners. * Credentials and recredentials practitioners and providers directly contracted for the Cleveland Clinic Employee Health Plan. * Develops, prepares and distributes standard and ad hoc reports in accordance with established schedules and requests. * Completes credentialing and recredentialing applications for contracted health plans for all CCHS owned facilities to maintain revenue stream. * Completes health plan enrollment activities for non-delegated plans. * Applies for and maintains clinical privileges for CC practitioners at Nevada hospitals. * Updates Council for Affordable Quality Health Care (CAQH) applications as needed. * Completes Medicare, Medicaid and BWC validations and revalidations as needed. * Completes health plan directory audits to comply with CCF initiatives, CMS and NCQA requirements as needed. * Researches and resolves practitioner loading and claims issues for employed and independent practitioners with contracted health plans. * Performs administrative tasks to support the initiatives of the Quality Alliance to include, entry and updating of new and existing Quality Alliance practitioners into Salesforce, reconciliation and auditing of reports and rosters to ensure networks are accurate and complete, collection of data regarding practice management systems, electronic funds transfer, and follow up with health plans regarding incentive payments and other provider inquiries. * Collects and maintains agreements for Quality Alliance providers, including Quality Alliance participation and ACO (Accountable Care Organization) agreements. * Reconciles verbiage in agreements with CMS data and requests new agreements as needed to comply with CMS reporting requirements. * Assists in preparation of ACO submission lists. * Other duties as assigned. Education: * Bachelor's degree in business administration or related concentration or equivalent experience required. Certifications: * None required.
