The Retail Facilities Service Center (RFSC) Department has an opening for a PT Dispatcher. This position is located in the National Services Center in Deer Valley, Arizona.

Position Purpose

This position is assigned to a specific division(s) and subject matter maintenance area (building, equipment, or refrigeration). The Dispatcher is responsible for making sure service calls in their assigned area have been handled in an expedient manner - which may include responding to emergency situations received via phone, service calls, e-mail and fax. Has to be able to independently make decisions and be take appropriate action when the situation arises.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as first point of customer service contact for stores, and backstage users.

  • Receive and ensure calls are routed to the appropriate contact.

  • Escalate service requests if needed.

  • Monitor dispatch board work for automated call routing, totaling about 80% of all requests. Ensure calls are routed correctly. If not, troubleshoot the reason for incorrect routing.

  • Troubleshoot and follow up with vendors and stores.

  • Follow up via e-mail or voicemail when information is missing from the system.

  • Misc projects. Working with manager on cost-savings or program rollout; such as reporting trends for stores in plumbing reviewing estimates for Parts sourcing opportunities etc.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1+ year minimum number of years of prior work experience (if any) required to perform the functions of this position

  • Customer service and verbal/written communications skills required.

  • Experience in dispatch preferred.

  • Must be a quick learner and able to multi-task and prioritize a high volume of work orders.

  • Basic computer skills required. Must have experience with MS Office programs with beyond basic Excel skill. Experience with work order management system preferred.
