Obstacles occur daily, so adjusting and adapting to the current situations is key to a dispatcher's success. They prioritize, dispatch, evaluate, analyze and re-allocate field operations workload and manpower as well as comparing resource availability with the work schedule to ensure balance is in place.
Utilizing multiple technology platforms, they assist customers and employees regarding account information and service order requests including:
Emergency line locates
Reschedule of uncompleted orders
This department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Personal skills required:
Attention to detail
The successful candidate must have:
a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience in use of standard office equipment, including strong computer skills and the ability to learn related software, as well as the ability to multitask and utilize multiple computer applications at one time.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to function under high-stress conditions
Reacting appropriately in emergency situations
Experience researching, analyzing, and resolving issues to successful completion
Previous customer service experience
Candidate must be available for rotating schedule. Current schedule available is rotating night and weekend schedule.#officeoperations
