Dispatcher (Full-Time)

Slomin's Inc., leading provider of home security, home automation, and heating oil services on the East Coast, is seeking a Full-Time Dispatcher out of our Hicksville, New York location. Responsibilities primarily include taking inbound calls from our customer base. You will assist the customer with inquiries related to all aspects of their Slomin's account (billing, troubleshooting, etc.).

Work hours for this position are:

7:00am to 4:00pm; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday (Off Wednesday and Saturday)

Training:

• Paid training
• Training will last approximately 3 - 4 weeks (depending on progress rate)
• Mandatory daytime training; Monday through Friday

Job Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of customer service / administrative experience.
• Previous HVAC experience preferred.
• Previous dispatch experience preferred.
• Must be energetic, professional, articulate, responsible and dependable.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills required.
• Computer / iPad skills a plus.
• Must undergo background check in compliance with New York Department of State, Division of Licensing Services requirements. (Having a criminal history does not automatically disqualify anyone from being hired.)
