Dispatcher - Fuel Transport

Penn Tank Lines is looking for a Night Dispatcher for its terminal in Tampa, FL. This position manages driver planning and load assignments for approximately 30 drivers to ensure efficient utilization of assets, having a direct impact on driver and terminal profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This terminal consists of 90 drivers, both company drivers and Independent Contractors.

This is a Full-Time position working a 12-hour rotating shift (i.e. 4 days off, 4 on) from 6 PM - 6 AM, and may include "on call" responsibility for operational needs as they arise.

Candidates must have a pleasant and professional demeanor with the ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently and exercise judgement in both regular and unique situations is required. Must be computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office; experience with routing or dispatching systems a plus.
