Job Summary
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the logistical coordination of Graniterock concrete orders and working in alignment with Graniterock's Strategic Priorities and business objectives.
Essential Job Accountabilities
Comply, understand, and promote safety initiatives to ensure "Safety Before All Else."
Serve as the key customer contact for material orders and deliveries.
Provide world class customer service for concrete customer orders while demonstrating the ability to identify needs as well as provide potential solutions.
Provide accurate order information through communication with customers.
Build an efficient daily delivery schedule while maximizing driver resources, assign next day driver start times, communicate with customers, sales, and plant teams.
Process cash account payments to ensure accurate receivables.
Coordinate jobsite safety checks, when applicable, and resolve Product Service Discrepancies (PSD).
Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree in business or related field desired
Some related driving/construction/dispatch experience.
1-3 years logistics, dispatch or construction transportation experience preferred
Required Skills Knowledge and Abilities
Good communication and listening skills
Detail-oriented and have an aptitude for numbers
Basic math skills
Ability to use computerized dispatching system
Proven ability to multi-task
Knowledge of geographic area
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
MS Word and Excel skills
Knowledge of aggregates
Must be able to work weekends and overtime
