ASRC Federal Primus, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is currently seeking to identify Dispatcher/Computer Operators in Fort Rucker, Alabama.

Overview:

The Dispatcher shall provide dispatch services at each fuel facility office using the Aviation Resource Training System (ARTS) to track and coordinate refuel and defuel recovery and maintenance support priorities for that site. In addition, dispatchers shall be knowledgeable of radio communications, instructions/regulations pertaining to fueling and defueling of Government and civilian aircraft, and Government forms used to document aircraft fuel servicing.

Skills/Experience:

  • Candidates must be computer literate and shall possess sufficient computer skills to use client/server applications in a Microsoft Windows and MSOffice environment.

  • Must be able to learn/utilize commercial off the shelf applications, utilities, and custom software as required to ensure that daily fuel operations are conducted in an effective and efficient manner.

  • Successfully use the real time dispatch system and manipulate data within the fuel management system.

  • The capability of analyzing hardware/software related problems to maintain accurate input flow, data retrieval, and output validity and/or capable of effectively communicating with remote systems support personnel to resolve computer related problems.

  • Administrative and accounting experience.

  • Knowledgeable of emergency notification procedures and serve as the Fuel Management initial point of contact.

Position requires ability to climb poles, work aloft, team lead, maintain a driver's license, computer literate and perform detailed functions in the splicing of copper and fiber cables. This position requires a great deal of accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Job Specifications: * Ability to identify colors • Be in good physical condition • Good corrected vision • Ability to adapt to changes in technology. * Ability to lift materials weighing 50 lbs. and carry them 100 feet. * Ability to climb telephone poles and work aloft • Ability to use hand tools while working aloft. Ability to safely operate a chain saw. * Ability to communicate in non-face-to-face situation. * Ability to read and understand job prints • Ability to understand how to use highly technical test equipment. * Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.Able to work after normal work hours as required. Duties and Responsibilities: * Inspect installation of buried fiber cables which includes terminating, splicing and testing. * Maintain existing copper cables including splicing and rearrangements/cable throws including installing terminals and testing.Maintain * Splice fiber per specifications to minimum light loss. * Troubleshoot cables by processing "Out of Service" Reports first and then all other trouble reports. * Complete paperwork as required for job status, materials used, time required, etc. * Responsible for overall maintenance and events required to turn-up FTTC and Enterprise customers including researching the PG activity and scheduling the High Risk Activity * Assist in the training of any and all teammates. Other Requirements:Obtain and load on truck all materials necessary to complete work orders. • Observe all required safety procedures and adhere to underground safety regulations established by the company and OSHA. • Conduct visual inspection of vehicles daily and perform preventive maintenance as required. • Must have the ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Must exhibit honesty, integrity and courtesy in all interactions. Must possess strong work ethic in supporting customer needs, responding promptly and consistently. Education:High school diploma • Pass training courses that apply to this position • Associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience preferred.
