Primary Duties and Responsibilities:A Dispatcher acts as a communication point for customers and technicians. Goals include minimizing missed appointments and maximizing Technical Field personnel productivity.
Monitor technician movement and proactively contact tech to ensure all time schedules are met
Monitor Sabit dashboard to ensure that the ONT is activated within 2 hours of receiving the order
Monitor activity within Sametime Group Chat with DRC
Monitor the CFS system and escalate to supervisor
Monitor the E-touch system creating tickets in Triage Sharepoint complaint tracker
Call drops into RWS (Regional Wire Service)
Contact Cox dispatch to reschedule work
Prepare weekly metric reports
Create J-tickets for splices
Update technician schedule to AWAS (Workbench). Notify each tech individually via phone, text or e-mail of deployment changes. Send exceptions to Offline
Communicate group activities such as meetings, trainings, schedule changes to each tech individually
Other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or equivalent
3 + years dispatch experience
Computer literacy with proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
Must be able to type 40 or more words per minute
Ability to organize and administer multiple job functions
Ability to handle difficult situations in a constructive, non-confrontational manner.
Knowledge of and ability to deal with other employees and departments.
Attend Staff Meetings as required.
Work Environment/Physical Demands: Use of computer and office equipment. Moderate travel may be required. Performs all administrative functions expected at this level. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is frequently required to sit.
