BELFOR is looking for qualified candidates for the following position. BELFOR team members are a unique breed, committed to restoring not only property, but restoring lives for those affected by disasters, large or small.
Dispatcher will be responsible for receiving service requests and facilitating activities such as directing technicians, field crew support, control of technicians and apprentices to ensure a high level of client care. Interact by phone with current clients to make appointments, collect information or conduct proposal follow-up procedures.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Receive requests for service from clients and record all details in an accurate manner
Direct and control the activities of the technicians and support staff day to day
Maintain a daily schedule and on call rotation management
Organize driver's activities based on needs and requests received
Maintain Call Center janitorial needs as time permits
Manage and ensure scheduled maintenance of vehicle and equipment is completed timely
answer phones professionally
respond to client inquiries
research required information using available resources
provide clients with product and service information
process orders, forms and applications
identify and escalate priority issues
route calls to appropriate resource
follow up client calls where necessary

Education and Experience
A 20-40 hour week is typical. Position may require additional hours during unusual or unforeseen circumstances. The Call Center is a 24/7/365 day responsibility. Proper communication, scheduling and staffing is required in order to maintain a successful Call Center.
