Basic Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Must have good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with others. Must have excellent customer service and telephone skills.

Education & Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic computer, data entry skills (Microsoft Office excel & word), 10-key calculator, multi-user telephone system

  • Must have ability to multi-task, work under conditions of frequent interruptions and attention to details.

  • Must have proficient ability to read, write and understand English language.

  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Good organizational and recordkeeping skills.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position requires sitting, standing, bending,

and lifting, moves intermittently during working hours. Must be physically able to lift items weighing approximately 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous dispatch and customer service experience.

Job Summary:
The Dispatch Clerk is responsible for performing day-to-day activities related to vehicle purchase orders, schedule and route drivers, and record vehicle information into Inventory System.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Schedule and dispatch trucks for vehicle orders as scheduled.

  • Communicate with customers to verify vehicle ownership documentation and confirm schedule vehicle pick up.

  • Monitor and update vehicle orders in Car Buy System.

  • Answer incoming calls related to dispatch and customer service.

  • Process and enter documentation data for incoming vehicle purchases into the Car Buy System.

  • Interview vehicles sellers for missing equipment that may require deductions

  • Prepare and review documentation related to the purchase

  • Maintain contact with outside Vendors

  • Confirm vehicle inventory information with car buy order

  • Work under time constraints.

  • Assumes other duties as assigned.
