JOB OPENING FOR A
Washington County Senior Citizens Center in Hurricane
PART TIME WITH NO BENEFITS
HOURS: Monday through Thursday
10:30- 2:30 p.m. (Approx. 16 hours a week)
Performs a variety of unskilled, routine duties as needed to help ensure a clean, attractive and operational county facility.
Dishwashing: Washes dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, bowls, glasses and anything that will fit inside sterilizer.
Cleans and sanitizes work stations; monitors chemicals and fluid levels in sterilizer to assure proper and effective operation; refills as needed.
Puts cleaned items away in proper storage locations.
Center Support: Checks in lunch clients.
Arranges furniture for special meetings and functions; replaces burned-out bulbs, secures building by ensuring doors and windows are properly locked.
Sweeps and maintains outside walks and steps; keeps parking lot clean and free of debris.
Performs basic janitorial functions to maintain the cleanliness of the center, which may include, but are not limited to, cleaning and restocking restrooms, emptying trash receptacles, etc.
Performs related duties as required.
Must obtain a Utah State Food Handlers Permit within 2 months of employment.
Must take and pass a pre-employment drug test.
