Overview

Reviewers fulfill assigned functions in disease-specific care ("DSC") program specific to cardiac care throughout the United States. Provides general evaluation services, education, and consultation consistent with applicable Joint Commission standards, policies, and protocols. Determines the degree of compliance with applicable standards.

Qualifications

Master's prepared RN or Board Certified MD/DO cardiovascular health care professional specialized in cardiac care. Candidates must have five (5) years recent clinical experience with at least three (3) years recent clinical experience in the care of patients with disease states such as acute myocardial infarction and heart failure which includes two (2) years of demonstrated responsibility for program oversight, decision-making, management and improvement.

Demonstrated knowledge of the industry quality initiatives, including process improvement trends, performance measurement and implementation strategies. Strong analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required. Current licensure and/or certification as required for professional discipline.

We are currently looking for candidates who are available to work intermittent (three consecutive business days per month) available. Extensive nationwide travel required.
