Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work 50 - 55 hours per week, including evening shifts and some weekends

  • Experience with basic office equipment (fax machines, printers and copiers)

  • Ability to learn company-specific software programs

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

  • Experience researching client issues and finding solutions

  • Experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment

  • Detail-oriented and organized

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Mortgage and/or banking experience

  • Ability to type 35 - 40 words per minute

Job Summary

The Disbursement Analyst processes all disbursements for purchase loans. They are responsible for following the lender's closing instructions in order to balance the funding from the lender to the payables required for closing.

Responsibilities

  • Verify the HUD/Closing Disclosure for correct amounts and payees based on lender closing instructions

  • Wire funds or cut checks to appropriate payees

  • Balance files to lender's wire amount

  • Provide lender with required funding documents

  • Prepare all UPS labels for outbound payoff, proceeds, taxes and homeowners insurance checks for every loan

  • Work closely with internal and external contacts to obtain necessary information to clear issues and verify taxes and payoffs
