Our IT Department is now seeking a highly talented Disaster Recovery Coordinator to join our team. This position will be located either in our San Mateo, CA, office (near San Francisco, CA) or Camas, WA, (near Portland, OR) office. This will be a contract-to-hire or direct hire opportunity.

The IT Disaster Recovery Analyst assists to drive visibility on the planning and implementing of disaster recovery capabilities and processes throughout the organization. This role requires working with the application development and operational teams and other stakeholders to create operational and test plans, manage / coordinate the DR operational activities, and work closely with the Business Continuity team to mitigate any effects on the ability to conduct business in the event of a disaster.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Work with Business Continuity Planning team to understand Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) for critical business functions and related technology

  • Work with other IT departments to determine recoverability options to represent business partners

  • Maintain the disaster recovery plan which includes:

  • Coordinate with application and operational teams on the creation and maintenance of DR plans

  • Review all existing plans to ensure they are complete, current, and all process steps are validated with the correct technical resources

  • Evaluate current processes and procedures for inefficiencies and make improvement recommendations

  • Testing of methodologies and plans

  • Coordinate with the IT applications and technical staff to ensure that disaster recovery solutions are adequate, in place, and maintained

  • Define critical and time-sensitive functions and work to increase the firm's capabilities to perform these functions from multiple sites

  • Work to identify, test and implement new technology or practices that would increase the efficiency of IT's ability to recover systems in the event of a disaster

  • Recommend recovery strategies and options and assist with the implementation of recovery solutions

  • Regularly report Disaster Recovery activities to management

  • Maintains current knowledge of industry practices as well as key vendors


  • 5+ years of experience, knowledge, skill, and ability to establish and maintain a company-wide disaster recovery program and serve as the subject matter expert

  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure operations and familiarity with disaster recovery operations

  • Should be self-directed and able to work independently

  • Ability to collaborate with other IT staff at all levels of responsibility

  • Ability to communicate technology into business terms with customers at all levels

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience

  • Financial services industry experience preferred

  • Strong verbal/written communications

San Mateo County Health's Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) Division has an exciting opportunity for an experienced psychiatric nurse to work in Behavioral Health and Recovery Services as a member of an interdisciplinary team. This position is within one of the outpatient regional clinics within San Mateo County, providing services for adult clients with serious mental illness, co-occurring disorders and complex medical conditions. The nurse will provide psychiatric assessment, clinical case management services, medication therapy and individual, group and family counseling. This nurse will work with acute hospitals and community resources to coordinate clients' clinical care and recovery services. This current full time vacancy is located in our Redwood City Behavioral Health clinic. The ideal candidate will possess: * Master's degree in Psychiatric Nursing is preferred but not required. * Skill in establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with families and consumers. * Knowledge of current psychiatric nursing practice including psychopharmacology and the medical issues associated with serious mental illness. * Knowledge of the behavioral health needs of adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders. * Knowledge of the principles of psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery. * Experience in providing individual and group skill-based psycho-education. * Experience working in an outpatient community mental health setting. * Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team as a direct service provider. * Minimum of one year experience in outpatient community mental health setting.
